Easter Bank Holiday Schedule
This year’s Easter bank holiday dates are:
- Friday, April 18th – Monday, April 21st, 2025
During this period, Royal Mail will not be conducting any collections or deliveries. This affects all medication shipments, including temperature-sensitive medications that require cold chain shipping.
How This Affects Your Order
If you place an order between Thursday evening (April 17th) and Tuesday (April 22nd), you should expect a brief shipping delay. While our clinical team will continue to process prescriptions during this time, physical shipment of medications won’t resume until Tuesday, April 22nd and Wednesday, April 23rd.
Understanding Tracking Information
It’s worth noting that when your prescription is approved by our clinical team, our system automatically generates a shipping label and tracking number. However, this doesn’t mean your package has been physically prepared for shipment. During the bank holiday period, there might be a gap between when you receive tracking information and when your package actually ships.
Cold Chain Considerations
Our weight loss injections are sent via cold chain shipping, with special thermal insulating packaging and ice packs that maintain proper temperature for up to 72 hours. However, the bank holiday weekend presents challenges to this timeframe, which is why we’ve adjusted our shipping schedule.
If your medication does arrive warmer than refrigerator temperature:
- Wegovy will remain suitable for use for up to 6 weeks
- Mounjaro will remain suitable for use for up to 30 days
Managing Your Treatment Schedule
We understand that shipping delays might cause some patients to experience a brief interruption in their treatment schedule. Fortunately, patients can have a break of up to 2 weeks between pens before they need to consider reducing their dose. We don’t anticipate delays of this length, so your treatment plan should remain largely unaffected.
