About the product

Famotidine Tablets are a medicine used to relieve and prevent symptoms of acid reflux and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD), such as heartburn and indigestion. They belong to a class of medicines called H2 receptor antagonists, which work by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach. This helps relieve discomfort, promote healing of the oesophagus, and prevent symptoms from recurring. Famotidine is usually taken once or twice daily, as directed by a healthcare professional, and can provide relief for several hours. It may also be used to help prevent acid-related symptoms before meals or at bedtime.
