Doxazosin Tablets are used to treat symptoms of an enlarged prostate, also known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). They work by relaxing the muscles in the prostate and the bladder neck, making it easier to pass urine and reducing symptoms such as difficulty starting urination, weak flow, and frequent or urgent urination.
Doxazosin is an alpha-blocker, and it can also be used to treat high blood pressure. For BPH, the tablets are usually taken once daily, with the dose adjusted as needed. Regular use can help improve bladder emptying and overall quality of life for men with prostate enlargement.
