Lenzetto Spray is a Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) that contains the female hormone oestrogen. It is usually used in postmenopausal women with at least six months since their last natural period. However, it can also be used in women who have had surgery to remove their ovaries as this causes instant menopause.

You should always use Lenzetto Spray exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are unsure, check with them.
Before using Lenzetto Spray for the first time, it should be primed by spraying three times with the cover on.
To apply your daily dose, take off the plastic cover, hold the container upright and rest the plastic cone flat against the skin. To ensure that there are no gaps between the cone and your skin, move your arm or move the cone part of the container on the arm. When ready, push the actuator button right down once. It should always be pushed fully and held down before releasing.
If another spray is needed, move the cone along your arm so that it is beside the area you have already sprayed, and press the button right down. This step can be repeat if a third spray is needed.
When you have finished, put the cover back on the container.
Your doctor will usually prescribe the lowest dose to treat your symptoms for as short as necessary. However, during the treatment your dose may be adjusted by your doctor according to your individual needs.
In most cases, your doctor will start you on one spray per day (lowest dose), and you should talk with your doctor about how well the medication is working for you. If necessary, it may be increased up to a maximum of three sprays per day.
If too much Lenzetto Spray is used, or if children have been using it by accident, contact your doctor to get an opinion of the risk and advice on action to be taken.
It may also cause you to feel sick, vomit, and have withdrawal bleeding (unusual vaginal bleeding).
If you forget to use Lenzetto Spray at your usual time, spray it as soon as you remember and use it as you normally would the next day. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, just wait and the apply the next dose as you normally would the next day.
Do not use a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. This may increase the likelihood of breakthrough bleeding and spotting.

Discuss all medications and hormone therapies you are using with your doctor.
You will have a bleed once a month (so-called withdrawal bleed) while using Lenzetto Spray if it is combined with sequentially dosed progestogen product. You should see your doctor as soon as possible if you have unexpected bleeding or drops of blood (spotting) besides your monthly bleeding, which: carries on for more than the first 6 months, starts after you have been using Lenzetto more than 6 months, or carries on after you have stopped using Lenzetto.
