How it works

Flucloxacillin is a penicillin-type antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections, particularly those affecting the skin, soft tissue, and wounds. It works by stopping bacteria from building their cell walls, which causes them to weaken and die. Flucloxacillin is especially effective against Staphylococcus aureus, a common cause of skin infections and infected cuts or bites.
