About the product

Clarithromycin Tablets are an antibiotic used to treat impetigo, a contagious bacterial skin infection that causes red sores, blisters, and crusting. They work by stopping the bacteria from growing and multiplying, helping the body’s immune system to clear the infection. Clarithromycin is often prescribed when topical treatments are not suitable or when the infection is widespread. The tablets are usually taken twice daily for a short course, as directed by a healthcare professional. It is important to complete the full course to fully clear the infection, prevent recurrence, and reduce the risk of antibiotic resistance.
