Have a question ? we’re here to help
Lucette is a combined hormonal contraceptive that can be used to prevent pregnancy. This form of contraception will not protect you against STIs, only a condom has that capability. Lucette contains ethinylestradiol and drospirenone and these hormones prevent your ovaries from releasing an egg. This form of contraception will make it difficult for an egg to implant itself in the womb’s lining and will also make it difficult for the sperm to find the egg.
We advise that all of our patients seek the advice of either their doctor or prescriber before they begin their Lucette treatment. This is to ensure that you receive the correct treatment for you.
