Have a question ? we're here to help
The Migraine Prophylaxis consultation is an online questionnaire where you will be asked details about your migraine history, and medical background. This allows our prescribers to evaluate your condition and determine if preventative migraine treatment is appropriate for you.
The consultation ensures we have the necessary information about your specific migraine condition to provide you with safe and effective preventative treatment. It allows our medical team to review your symptoms, recent migraines, previous treatments, and overall health to recommend an appropriate prophylaxis plan.
The consultation typically takes under 2 minutes to complete by providing details about your migraine history and medical background. Online consultations streamline the process of getting your prescription medications and remove the need for a lengthy back-and-forth.
Be prepared to provide details such as frequency and severity of migraine attacks, current/previous treatments, other medical conditions, and medications you take. You can also choose to provide any additional information you feel is relevant.
Once completed, you are then able to request and order your Migraine Prophylaxis treatment. One of our prescribers will review your consultation, and we will be in touch if any further information is required.
Once your treatment is confirmed by our prescribers, your order will be packed and shipped to you in discreet, recyclable packaging using your preferred delivery method.
You will be able to request a specific preventative migraine treatment, such as Topiramate, once the consultation has been completed. Your treatment request will be verified by our prescribers based on the information you provide during the consultation. Please note that the decision to prescribe a particular treatment always rests with the prescriber.
Complete a new consultation if your migraine patterns change significantly or you start/stop any other medications, as this may impact your prophylaxis needs. Your condition may have changed since the last consultation and therefore an updated consultation lets us know if there need to be any changes to your treatment plan. Doing so will ensure that we provide you with appropriate treatment and we adhere to the guidelines set by the GPhC.
Yes, it is possible for another person to complete the consultation for you. They will need access to your relevant medical information and an understanding of your current condition and situation.
Please ensure that all information given during the consultation is accurate.
No, online consultation is the only requirement to receive preventative migraine treatment from us. Our prescribers have all the necessary information from your responses. If they require additional information, we will be in touch.
