Fluticasone Nasal Spray contains fluticasone propionate, a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation inside the nasal passages.
It is used to treat and prevent symptoms of allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, itching, a blocked or runny nose, and nasal discomfort caused by hay fever, dust mites, or pet dander. By lowering inflammation and swelling in the nose, fluticasone helps improve airflow and relieve allergy symptoms throughout the day.
The spray is applied directly into each nostril, usually once or twice daily, and regular use gives the best results. It is for nasal use only and should be used exactly as directed by a healthcare professional.

Blow your nose gently, then close one nostril with your finger and put the nozzle into the other nostril. Tilt your head forward slightly, keep the bottle upright, and breathe in slowly through your nose while pressing down firmly on the collar to release the spray. Breathe out through your mouth, then repeat for a second spray in the same nostril before moving to the other nostril.
The usual starting dose for adults is 2 sprays into each nostril once a day, preferably in the morning, up to a maximum of 8 sprays over 24 hours. Once your symptoms improve, your doctor may reduce this to 1 spray into each nostril once a day, increasing it again if symptoms return.
