Morning After Pill

The morning after pill is a form of emergency contraception which can prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex. It needs to be taken as soon as possible after unprotected sex.

There are two types of morning after pill available: ellaOne and Levonelle

Levonelle and generic Levonelle have to be taken within 3 days (72h) of sex.

EllaOne has to be taken within 5 days (120h) of sex.

  Levonelle is known as the morning after pill. It should be taken within 72 hours after unprotected sex.
