Overview

This hair loss solution contains minoxidil and finasteride, two ingredients that are clinically proven to treat male pattern baldness. This medication should only be applied to the scalp and is for external use only. It is important to know that hair loss treatment takes time before you see results. In many cases, it can take months before positive results in hair loss are noticed.

As your hair follicles are rejuvenated and DHT is blocked, hair density will be seen to improve. You may also notice an improvement in your hair colour. The first sign that your treatment is working will be a reduction in hair shedding, and the most noticeable improvement will be seen after around a year of treatment.

Side Effects

Like all medicines, this hair loss solution may potentially cause side effects, although not everyone will experience them. Some side effects will likely only be temporary whilst using the treatment and will go away once you discontinue use.

Like most topical solutions, it is possible to experience skin irritation as a common side effect. If this persists, or continues as itching, stop using this treatment and consult your doctor.

Some other possible side effects include:

• Temporary hair loss during the first 2-6 weeks of use, which is likely to be a result of a change within the hair growth cycle and it should stop within a couple of weeks. If this hair loss continues for longer than 4 weeks, stop using this treatment and speak to your doctor.
• Redness, rash or irritation that doesn’t go away
• Excessive hair growth
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing.

How it works

This spray combines two powerful hair loss treatments with complementary mechanisms. Minoxidil works as a potassium channel opener that increases blood flow to hair follicles, prolonging the growth phase of the hair cycle and stimulating follicles to produce thicker, stronger hair. Finasteride works by inhibiting the enzyme 5-alpha reductase, which converts testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT)—the hormone primarily responsible for male pattern baldness.
