The Malaria Prophylaxis consultation is an online questionnaire that allows you to provide us with information regarding your malaria situation and medical history.
The consultation consists of various health questions relevant to your medical needs. This includes information on allergies and current diagnoses.
The information we receive will then be reviewed by one of e-Surgery’s prescribers to determine the appropriate treatment plan.
The consultation is important as it allows our prescribers to get the necessary details, they need to make a proper diagnosis for your specific situation and make an appropriate treatment plan. The consultation is a stage in our process for getting you your treatment.
The consultation on the e-Surgery website is a quick and convenient process. It is an online questionnaire that has been designed with user experience in mind and can typically be completed in under 2 minutes.
You will need to provide information on the countries you will be travelling to, the number of days you will spend there, if you’ve ever had side effects from preventative malaria medication and more. Other general health questions include any allergies to medications and other diagnoses you have.
After you’ve answered all the questions in the consultation, you are then able to select and purchase your Malaria Prophylaxis medication.
One of our prescribers will review your responses and we will get back to you if they need any further details.
Once your treatment is confirmed, it will be processed for delivery using your preferred delivery method.
You can select and purchase your desired Malaria Prophylaxis medication after the consultation, such as Malarone. Your responses will be checked by our prescribers to ensure that the chosen medication is right for you.
Please be aware that the final decision to prescribe a medication always rests with the prescriber.
You should complete a new Malaria Prophylaxis consultation whenever you require a new prescription and if your medical condition has changed since the previous consultation.
This provides us with up-to-date information which ensures that you get treatment that is right for you, as your needs may have changed.
This ensures that we provide you with the right medication and adhere to the guidelines set by the GPhC.
